Manny gained a passion for working with people and helping put people to work as a Retail Manager, so he decided to develop a full-time career rooted in it. As an Executive Recruiter, Manny works closely with hiring managers to source, recruit, and manage candidates throughout the hiring process. His recruitment experience has varied across a variety of industries ranging from Life Science R&D to Manufacturing & Logistics, Engineering, and Office Professionals.

Manny’s interest in Life Science recruitment came after working with a major pharmaceutical company to fill manufacturing and engineering roles for an urgent project. He quickly realized how much of an impact he could make in people lives, not only by providing people jobs, but by providing companies the right people to succeed and ultimately bring new medicines and innovation to the industry.

Manny has provided recruitment solutions for small and large biopharmaceutical companies and CRO’s, both at the executive level and individual contributor levels. Prior to joining National Search Associates he worked as a Senior Staffing Manager in the Life Science space, and gained experience addressing roles in several areas including Discovery Research, Clinical Research and Medical Affairs. Manny takes pride in building long lasting relationships with candidates and clients, and finds the ever-changing job of a recruiter exciting and beneficial, as it is never a dull day.

Manny is a San Diego native who spends most of his free time outdoors, either riding his motorcycle or at the beach with his Basset Hound Sherlock. He enjoys travelling and often will choose an adventure over a vacation.
