New Hires:

In March 2018 we added two new people to our team, Erica Faccone & Veena Ramki.

Erica recently moved from Austin, Texas, where she spent four years working in the television industry, learning about world trends and new business strategies. Her creative thinking and ideas will help bring new insight to the recruiting industry, finding other ways to help people further their careers in the biotech industry. She has a passion for learning about medical advances and studies since her spouse’s family has a genetic disorder with no known cure.

Born and raised in Arizona, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production and graduated top of her class taking only three years to complete. Erica and her spouse live in Carlsbad California and love to go on hikes with their boxer dog. As well as participate in outdoor activates such as 5k’s and weekly sporting events.

Veena brings over six years of diverse experience in the areas of recruitment, behavioral interviewing and sales consulting. She is a certified DISC practitioner.  Her recruiting experience has primarily been in the information technology and life sciences industries. Prior to joining National Search Associates, she worked at an executive search firm where she successfully filled several internal positions. She is fascinated by the life science industry because it is at the cutting edge of new discoveries and advances in healthcare and medicine.

Her strengths and success as a recruiter lie in identifying an individual’s personality, strengths and interests, and matching these with the job requirements to get an excellent fit for the client company. Her approach to recruiting is one of consulting and she strives to maintain honest and lasting relationships with her candidates throughout the hiring process.  It gives her great joy and satisfaction when her efforts lead to someone finding their compass in their professional endeavors.

Her personal and professional philosophy is to welcome each day, and to be grateful for the fortunes that life has bestowed on her. When she is not at work, she cherishes the time she spends with her kids. She loves doing yoga, enjoys camping, and sometimes just walking barefoot at the beach.
