Veena brings with her over ten years of diverse experience in the areas of recruitment, behavioral interviewing, and sales consulting. She is a certified DISC practitioner. She joined National Search Associates in early 2018 and has successfully completed several executive-level recruiting assignments in Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, and other roles in Clinical Sciences. She has received the “Recruiter of the Year” award twice at NSA. Her clients include small to mid-sized companies that are building/expanding their teams. Veena is passionate about her work with the life sciences industry because of the deep positive impact the industry has on patients.

Her strengths and success as a full-desk recruiter lie in identifying an individual’s personality, strengths, and interests, and matching these with the job requirements to get an excellent fit for the client company. Her approach to recruiting is one of consulting and she strives to maintain honest and lasting relationships with her candidates and clients. It gives her great joy and satisfaction when her efforts lead to someone finding their compass in their professional endeavors.

Her personal and professional philosophy is to welcome each day and appreciate life’s blessings. When she is not at work, she cherishes the time she spends with her 2 kids. She enjoys yoga, gardening, camping, and sometimes just walking barefoot at the beach.
